When a state mandate required public schools to provide speech-language services to private school students, the School District of Palm Beach County needed an innovative solution. Staffing shortages, limited on-site resources, and logistical challenges made it nearly impossible to address the needs of private school students spread across the district. Without a scalable, flexible solution, many students risked missing critical support, potentially putting the district out of compliance.
The School District of Palm Beach County partnered with Presence to meet the challenge head-on. Presence seamlessly extended the district’s on-site team, delivering speech-language therapy to over 300 students across 52 private schools. Flexible scheduling options—including during and after school—made therapy accessible for every student, no matter their needs.
