Presence Presents Teletherapy Options for Providers at ASHA 2021

Who: PresenceLearning, the leading provider of comprehensive online therapy solutions for schools and beyond, will participate in the ASHA 2021 Convention.

What: The ASHA Convention is the premier annual professional development and networking event for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists. The 2021 ASHA Convention will be a hybrid event, including an in-person convention with an online library of pre-recorded digital sessions.

The PresenceLearning Care Network offers speech-language pathologists and other clinicians a flexible, remote opportunity to work with students with special needs. Recently, the company launched a new therapy solution, Therapy Essentials for Individual and Group Practices. Independent clinicians can now license the award-winning platform to expand their practice and serve children through online therapy. Attendees will be able to receive more information about the platform and see a demo at PresenceLearning’s booth.

Tami Radzai, a speech-language pathologist from PresenceLearning, will present a one-hour seminar titled, “Telepractice and Early Childhood: Rising Up to the Challenge.” Attendees will learn how telepractice can be used to effectively support progress for children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Radzai will also share strategies for engaging caretakers and examples of activities appropriate for use in teletherapy.

When: The ASHA Convention will take place Thursday, November 18, through Saturday, November 20. Radzai’s seminar is on Thursday, November 18, at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Where: The in-person event will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001. PresenceLearning is in booth #318. There will also be a virtual library with access to pre-recorded digital sessions. Radzai’s seminar will be held at the convention center in room 150A.
